For our walk with Jesus on Saturday afternoon,
we explored the Tiong Bahru neighbourhood and shared with each other about how God has been merciful to us this month in our work and in other areas of our lives. We were reminded through Lamentations 3:22-23 that God’s mercies are something we receive daily in big and small ways — and that His greatest daily gift to us is the relationship we have with Him. We were also challenged by John 15:13 to be more loving towards others, especially in these COVID times. We thank God for the good afternoon conversation and time we spent meditating on His Word. 🙂

As I looked at the picture,
I was reminded of a same scene I saw more than 1 year ago.
I asked myself who would want to risk their life to do such a risky job. For them it’s because they need to support their families.
But for our Lord, He has no reason to risk His life for us. He did it because He loves us all and willing to die for us even the road ahead for Him is faced with persecution.
As I reflect, I regretted for my actions & anger towards God when my prayers was not answered or it’s go the opposite directions.
Lord, please forgive me & to know You love me, help me to have the love of Jesus in my heart and to reflect your love and show concern when I communicate with others.
Teach me to love as You first love us.

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases;
His mercies never come to an end;
They are new every morning;
Great is your faithfulness.
~Lamentations 3: 22-23
God’s love is steadfast and ever flowing and so are His mercies.
They are new every morning and they reminded me of the manna from heaven that He promised to His people. I am thankful and grateful because He is a faithful God.
