Purpose:

• Ever thought of writing devotionals to share your personal reflections and convictions with family, friends or on social media? If you have, then this workshop may help you in your devotional writing journey.
• Rev Barnabas Chong will share about his personal journey in devotional writing, discuss devotional writing styles, tips and key ingredients.
• You will also get to actually write a devotion and obtain feedback from the group.

About our Speaker: Rev Barnabas Chong is currently an itinerant minister who had at the end of 2024 retired as a fulltime Methodist pastor. His devotional writing journey officially began in 2011 when he began to post his daily devotions on his church blog at Cairnhill Methodist Church to encourage church members in their daily walk. A selection of these daily devotions were subsequently published in his book, Daily (a 365-day devotional) which was launched in late 2016.
