Bring some love to our community by joining young adults in hosting families and children from KKCS with some games and crafting activities!

In collaboration with Kampong Kapor Community Services (KKCS) and Kampong Kapor Methodist Church (KKMC) Outreach and Social Concerns Ministry, the KKMC Young Adults Ministry is organising a mini-carnival with games, arts and crafts, and possibly food for the children and family members of KKCS and Whampoa residents (particularly those from the nearby public housing rental blocks).

The mini-carnival will be held after the KKCS year-end award ceremony for its children club, HEARTS@78A (more details in the programme outline below).

We are estimating that approximately 100 to 150 children and family members will come for the mini-carnival. 

Date: Saturday, 9 December 2023 
Time: 9.30am to 4pm (shift slots are available if you are unable to commit for the full duration!)
Venue: Whampoa Community Centre @ 300 Whampoa Drive, Singapore 327737 

Programme Outline: 
9.30am to 11am – Set up and briefing 
11am to 1pm – Lunch and Awards Ceremony (only for KKCS children club members) 
1pm to 3pm – Mini-carnival (for walk-ins at the CC, KKCS children club members and their family members) 
3pm to 4pm – Clean up and tear down
