Speaker: Assoc Prof Ang Seng Bin, Senior Consultant at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital

About the speaker: Assoc Prof Ang Seng Bin is the Family Physician, Senior Consultant, Family Medicine Service and Head of Menopause Unit for KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

He is actively involved in education for both the undergraduate and post-graduate programs and holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor and the Director of Innovations in the Family Medicine Academic Program, Duke NUS Medical School as well as being the Associate Program Director for the Singhealth Family Medical Residency Program. His research interests include osteoporosis, menopause, sexual health, music and health, healthcare innovations as well as dermatology.

An active member of local and international professional societies, Assoc Prof Ang is a Member of the Board of Trustees and General Secretary of the International Menopause Society, Immediate Past President of the Asian Federation of Osteoporosis Societies, Council Member of the Asia Pacific Menopause Federation as well as President of the Osteoporosis Society Singapore.

He is also an active volunteer in the social service sector. Currently Chairman of Allkin Singapore Ltd (a Company Limited by Guarantee), Assoc Prof Ang is also a Board Member of Singapore Totalisator Board (Tote Board), Board Member of the Agency of Integrated Care (AIC), Board Member of SATA CommHealth, Board Advisor of the NUS Mind Science Centre, as well as immediate past Chairman of Shine Children and Youth Services. He is also the Chair of the HBRA-IRB at the Singapore University of Social Sciences.
