For those who signed up for the Kampong Family Affection (KFA) initiative, the option was given to self-collect the consecrated communion elements or have them delivered. Church volunteers – 19 packers and 23 drivers – prepared the pouches of communion elements and had them delivered in the last week. It was another opportunity to interact with those who were not able to come to church.
Most deliveries went without a hitch and it was good to see some familiar faces!
Husband and wife team Alex and Jennifer Tan Alex shared that Steven (left photo) was grateful for the KFA online communion arrangement, as his mother is 88 years old, while Jennifer Yeow (right photo) was happy that she can now participate in Holy Communion as she is at home caring for her husband.
Some drivers were even invited into the home for drinks, like Kelvin & Caroline Seah who visited Dr Khoo How San and his wife, Angie.
