Creation Care Conference 2025

Creation Care Conference 2025

Posted on 22 Mar 2025

In a world increasingly focused on environmental sustainability, the urgency to care for our planet is felt across businesses, governments, and communities. What does God’s Word say about our relationship with the natural world? Did environmental stewardship matter to our church fathers? How can the Church play a role in promoting sustainable development in a world in need of healing? And how should Christians in Singapore respond to the challenges of our time?

Building on a successful inaugural conference held in 2022, the Creation Care Conference 2025 (CCC25) is a two-day conference targeted at Christians and churches. CCC25 aims to equip Christians with a theological understanding of creation care, empower them to love and care for creation, and connect like-minded believers to effect change together. We aim to cultivate not just greater awareness, but a radical reimagining of our relationship with creation and our responsibilities as faithful caretakers that culminates in collaborative action.

The Conference Theme

At its heart, CCC25 seeks to ignite a collective desire for the restoration and redemption of creation as part of the ongoing and all-encompassing nature of Christ’s redeeming work: between humanity and God, among people, and between us and the rest of creation. The theme of the conference is therefore “On Earth As It Is In Heaven”. By looking to Jesus, the One who brings restoration and renewal, CCC25 is both a prayer and call for more of heaven to transform more of earth, and more of us.

A Statement of Unity

To this end, CCC25 represents a Statement of Unity by the Church in Singapore. It declares the Lordship of Christ over all creation and affirms creation care as an integral aspect of Christian discipleship. To date, CCC25 is supported by 16 organisations across the denominational spectrum. These include the Trinity Annual Conference (The Methodist Church in Singapore), The Bible Society of Singapore, World Vision Singapore, Singapore Bible College, Caritas Singapore and the Fellowship of Evangelical Students Singapore.
