Witnessing in Gentleness & Respect (WIGR) is a 4-part video series created by the Board of Witness & Evangelism designed to equip Christians to share their faith with confidence, authenticity, and grace in today’s complex and diverse world. We will be going through this series over two weeks in May.
Many believers want to share about their faith but feel unsure, awkward, or even hesitant—especially when conversations touch on sensitive topics or differing worldviews. WIGR addresses this directly by reframing evangelism not as winning arguments, but as engaging people through genuine relationships marked by humility, empathy, and respect. Rooted in 1 Peter 3:15, the series encourages Christians to be thoughtful witnesses who reflect Christ not just in what they say, but in how they listen and respond.
Each session offers a rich and interactive learning experience, combining biblical reflection, real-life case studies, group discussions, and practical exercises. Participants will gain insights into understanding different perspectives, navigating difficult conversations, and communicating their faith in a way that is both truthful and loving.
Whether you are new to sharing your faith or looking to grow deeper in your approach, WIGR provides a safe and supportive environment to learn and practise. It is especially helpful for small groups, ministry teams, and anyone who longs to engage friends, family, and colleagues in meaningful spiritual conversations.
