Connect & Care – A workshop on befriending & witnessing to seniors

Posted on 15 Oct 2025

About this workshop: This workshop is designed to help you build skills and sensitivity for engaging with the elderly. In the context of a rapidly diversifying and aging population, you will be equipped to navigate cultural, religious, and generational differences; integrate genuine, faith-inspired care for seniors; and develop practical tools for effective, respectful ministry.

The session will also address how to recognise and respond to compassion fatigue, ensuring a sustainable and mutually enriching experience for everyone involved. Through interactive activities and reflection, participants will explore how their outreach and care can embody Christ’s compassion, wisdom, and inclusivity – ultimately to be the incarnation of Christ.
