Hi KKMC members and friends

Advent and Christmas
I wish you God’s grace and peace as we enter the Season of Advent with patient anticipation and remembrance of the first coming of Jesus so many years ago.
New TRAC President
The 45th Session of the TRAC Annual Conference, which was held from Monday, 23 Nov to Thursday, 26 Nov, elected as our New TRAC President the Rev Stanley Chua. Congratulations to him and let us remember to pray for him as he takes on the heavy responsibilities of this office.
Pastoral Appointments in 2021 for KKMC
Pastor Kay Leong and Pastor Anthony have been appointed again as Pastors, and I as Pastor-in-Charge, to KKMC for another year starting 1 Jan 2021. We are all very glad to be so and we ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers.

“Walking with Jesus” this Advent Season
From 29 Nov to 24 Dec, our Discipleship & Nurture committee has organised “Walking with Jesus”, in which we gather in groups of not more than 5 for a walk or jog while meditating on and memorising 1 or 2 verses of Scripture as we go along.
We have prepared special meditative images that you can read on your phones or devices of
choice as you partake in this activity. This time together in small groups will help us build authentic community as we fellowship with each other and get to know Jesus more deeply. For more details, go to our church website’s “Stay Engaged” page.
“Kampong Family Affection via Holy Communion” (KFA)
We continue with KFA this and next Sunday, 6 & 13 Dec, during which those who have signed up for it will be able to participate in the Sacrament of Holy Communion via live-streaming as the Sacrament is conducted in Church.
Go to the YouTube “KKMC Livestream” Channel and click on the Devotional Service of Prayer (DSOP) link to join in online with fellow KKMC members and friends who are at church as one KKMC church family in this Sacrament. Remember to have with us the consecrated Holy Communion elements, which we have collected or were delivered to us, joining in about 5 mins before the DSOP starts.
Special Worship Services in December
As earlier shared on 15 and 29 Nov during the Opening Words of the recorded Worship Services, we are holding three Special Worship Services on-site at KKMC for up to 100 worshippers. They are the:
- Christmas Eve (Carols by Candlelight) Service on Thurs, 24 Dec, at 10pm
- Christmas Day Service on Fri, 25 Dec, at 10am
- Watchnight (Covenant Renewal and Holy Communion) Service on Thursday, 31 Dec, at 11pm.
As at the writing of this letter, the on-site bookings for Christmas Day and Watchnight Services have all been taken up. There are limited slots still available for Christmas Eve Service. If we wish to attend these Services, please book a slot on our church webpage in the same way we have done so to attend our DSOPs.
For those who wanted to attend these Services, but should all slots have been taken, please do not be disappointed as we will also be live-streaming these Services. We can join in online at the YouTube “KKMC Livestream” Channel at the relevant Service timings on 24, 25 and 31 Dec.
Participating Online in the Sacrament of Holy Communion at Home during the Watchnight (Covenant Renewal and Holy Communion) Service
For KKMC members and friends who wish to participate online at home, please go to our church website’s “Stay Engaged” page and register for the number of consecrated pre-packed Holy Communion elements which we need for ourselves and/or family members. Deadline for registration is Fri, 11 Dec.
We can then self-collect these elements from church on Sundays, 20 & 27 Dec after our 8am, 10am, 2pm and 5.30pm DSOPs.
Remember to have with us the consecrated Holy Communion elements on 31 Dec and join in about 5 mins before the Service starts at 11pm.
Service of Baptism for Infants and Children
On Christmas Day, there will also be a Baptism Service held from 11.45am to 12.30pm for KKMC Members who would like their infant(s) or child(ren), who are below 16 years old, to be baptised.
Visit our church webpage under “Events” for details. Closing date for registration is Mon, 7 Dec.

Baptism & Membership Class 1/2021 for the English Congregation
We will be holding this Class over 11 sessions via ZOOM on Thursday nights, starting 7 Jan to 25 March 2021 (except for 11 Feb) from 7.30pm to 9.30pm for anyone wanting to be baptised and/or become an official member of KKMC. We should have been attending KKMC for at least 6 months before applying. Go to our church website under “Events” for details and to register for the Class.
Coming soon to the close of 2020
This year has been, without a doubt, a most challenging year in the face of the on-going COVID-19 pandemic. Yet, our aim in life remains the same – that in all that we are and do, we are and do so for the Glory of God (1 Cor 10:31) as we seek to be Faithful Disciples in Authentic Community here at KKMC.
And it will take place so as we:
“Let the favour of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands — O prosper the work of our hands!”
– Psalm 90:17
Amen!!
God Bless all and do continue to stay safe
Ps Kenneth
