Pastoral Letter – 22 July 2021

Stay connected with Pastor Kenneth’s latest pastoral letter to the congregation.

Dear KKMC Members and Friends

I wish you God’s grace and peace in your lives.

PHASE TWO (HEIGHTENED ALERT) from 22 July through 18 August 2021

As we enter this phase today, we keep our trust in God to protect and provide for us. We also continue to take the necessary steps to keep ourselves safe. As advised by MCCY to mitigate potential community transmissions, unvaccinated individuals, especially the elderly, are asked to stay at home as much as possible during this period and not attend our on-site Devotional Worship Services (DWSes).

Instead, join us online for our DWSes at 10am (English), 2pm (Mandarin) and 5.30pm (Tamil) as they are live-streamed, and can still be watched after the service is over.

Once we move out of this period of Heightened Alert, we definitely look forward to seeing as many of you as possible back in church for our on-site DWSes.

In the meantime, we also suggest that everyone who is eligible, in particular the elderly who have a higher risk of developing serious symptoms, should get vaccinated as soon as possible.

As we approach a new Church Financial Year, do prayerfully consider your Pledge for FY August 2021 – July 2022. If you have not received the Pledge Letter for this year, do visit the Give page to read the Letter, submit your Pledge using the online Pledge Card, and get information on bank details (PayNow/ internet banking/ crossed cheque). Do note the new church bank account details if you are using internet banking to fulfill your tithes and offerings.

Do join us for our next CPT on Wed, 4 August, at 8pm to 9.30pm as we take time to pray for the concerns of our church, the world and for this month, for our Nation as it celebrates another National Day on 9 August.

I close with this reminder from Deuteronomy 31:8.

“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”

Take care and God Bless

Ps Kenneth
