This letter contains important updates about Covid-19 and upcoming events.
Dear KKMC Members and Friends
I wish all God’s peace and grace as we continue moving forward towards “Covid-19 resilience”, as recently announced by our Government.
COVID-19 UPDATES FOR DEVOTIONAL WORSHIP SERVICES (DWS)
Following the transition out of Phase Two (Heightened Alert) Safe Management Measures for Religious Organisations starting 10 August 2021, from Sunday, 29 August, I would like to share that we will be conducting the 8am and 10am English DWSes for worshippers who are fully vaccinated (see footnote).
This enables us to increase the number of persons present at KKMC back up to 150 at any one time, from the current 50, so that more of us can be together at church to worship God. Congregational singing is still not permitted, but we may have live singing by the Choir / Worship Team during the DWSes as allowed, with necessary safe management measures complied with.
Tickets will be available for booking from 12pm, Saturday, 21 August.
Our 2pm (Mandarin) and 5.30pm (Tamil) DWSes will also in due course be conducted for worshippers who are fully vaccinated. Till then, the number of worshippers at these two DWSes will remain at 50 for those fully vaccinated or not.

JOIN US ONLINE
Those of us who are unable to attend our DWSes for whatever reason, including those who have yet to be fully vaccinated, you can watch the same services live-streamed at 10am DWS (English), 2pm (Mandarin) and 5.30pm (Tamil) on the respective KKMC YouTube channels. The recordings will still be available on the YouTube channel after the service.
As advised by MCCY to mitigate potential community transmissions, unvaccinated individuals, especially the elderly, are being asked not to attend our on-site Devotional Worship Services but to join us online instead.
We urge everyone who is eligible, in particular the elderly who have a higher risk of developing serious symptoms, to get vaccinated as soon as possible so that we can see you in person at our DWSes.
ANNUAL HYMN FESTIVAL
We will be holding our Annual Hymn Festival on Sun, 29 August, at our 8am and 10am DWSes. It will also be live-streamed at 10am on the KKMC YouTube channel.
COMBINED CHURCH PRAYER TIME (CPT)
Our next CPT on Combined Church Prayer Time (Missions) will be held on Wed, 1 September, from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Do make it a point to join us as we come together from our different language congregations to pray for our Missionaries and the work of Missions. Email Lyndon Gan at lyndon@kkmc.org.sg for the ZOOM Session details.
REMEMBER GOD IS WITH US
Just as I did in the previous Pastoral Letter, I remind us again of Deuteronomy 31:8, as it helps us remember to trust and obey our God!
“The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
God Bless and take care.
Ps Kenneth
