Pastoral Letter – 17 September 2021

Posted on 17 Sep 2021

In-person services on 19 September 2021 have been suspended.

Dear KKMC members and friends,

As at 16 September, 6.20pm, there are two confirmed cases of Covid-19 at KKMC. We have been in touch with them; they have told us that they are doing well, and have few or no symptoms. Let us remember to pray for them to recover fully, and for their families not to be anxious.

The church office has informed all those who may have been in close contact with them to monitor their health. These persons have been advised to take an ART, and to refrain from socialising for the time being.

We are grateful to God that this happened only when most of our members have already been fully vaccinated. However, for peace of mind, you may wish to conduct an ART self-test or visit an MOH-approved ART provider.

A deep cleaning and disinfection exercise will be conducted at church today by a professional cleaning company. As a precaution, all in-person Worship Services will be suspended this Sunday (19 September). Instead, join us on our live-streamed services instead.

Regardless of how this situation unfolds, we must put our trust in God, remembering what Deuteronomy 31:8 states,

The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.

Deuteronomy 31:8

Do keep this situation in prayer, that there will be no further spread in our community.
