Dear KKMC Members and Friends
It has been awhile since I wrote. I pray that you are keeping well. I also continue to wish all God’s peace and grace as we keep moving forward through the Covid-19 pandemic.
I am writing to encourage you to participate in two important “Loving Outreach” Events we are running. Despite the pandemic, we do not want to neglect our community outreach efforts. It is precisely during this time that our neighbours might really need help, and as a church placed in their community, we should make an effort to understand their needs and help where possible. Your sign-up now will help the Outreach & Social Concerns Committee plan and prepare for the events.
The two events are:
1. Community Blessing Effort (CBE), where we want to re-connect with the residents that we met in April and share the news of “Project 5 Loaves & 2 Fishes” (more details on this below).
Date: 11 December 2021 (Saturday)
Time: 1.00pm – 3.30pm
Venue: Kampong Kapor Methodist Church – Level 1 Sanctuary
Attire: KKMC Anniversary T-shirt or dark blue polo T-shirt
Register as an individual or as a LifeGroup at https://kkmc.org.sg/community-blessing-effort/
2. “Project 5 Loaves & 2 Fishes” (or P5L2F), which is a community event where we invite our neighbours to come by the church to pick up food and essential household items that they might need. It is similar to a food bank concept.
Date: 18 December 2021 (Saturday)
Time: From 12 noon to 3pm
Where: Kampong Kapor Methodist Church – Car Park
You can participate by either donating food and essential items, cash or by being a volunteer at https://kkmc.org.sg/p5l2f/
Do also join us for our final Church Prayer Time this year on Wed, 1 Dec from 8pm to 9.30pm. The focus will be on Missions. Zoom meeting details will be posted on the KKMC Telegram Channel or you may email Lyndon Gan at lyndon@kkmc.org.sg for them.

My next letter to you will be the Christmas Letter detailing all the Worship Services we will be conducting during the Christmas and end of year period. I am praying that many of you will attend these Services.
Lastly, I want us to continue to remember Deuteronomy 31:8 and let us keep on trusting and obeying our God!
