Dear KKMC Member and friends

God’s peace and grace be with you. Trust that we are all doing well.

KKMC in Phase 3

I am happy to share with all that, following the submission of our Safe Management Plan for Phase 3, KKMC is able to:

(1) from Sunday, 10 Jan, have “live presentations” with 5 singers and organist / pianist during our Devotional Worship Services (DWS). However, congregational singing is still not allowed.

(2) from Sunday, 24 Jan, now have a maximum of 150 worshippers in 3 zones of 50 at our DWS as follows:

(a) 50 seated at the Front (Usual) Section – right side facing the pulpit – “FS-1” (entry by church main door)

(b) 50 seated at the Front (Usual) Section – left side facing the pulpit – “FS-2” (entry by church main door), and

(c) 50 seated at the Left Section – “LS” (entry by church carpark door)

See diagram below for easy reference for entry points for each zone. Look out also for directional signage put up at church. The KKMC Welcome team will also be on-hand to provide assistance.

Do note that booking for the extra 50 slots on EventBrite via the Church Website will be available from Sun, 17 Jan onwards for the 8am and 10am DWS.

We want to thank the Welcome & Safety Team, the Pastoral Team and the Church Office for helping to oversee the implementation of the above, so that we can continue to have safe and meaningful Worship Services.

KKMC 127th Anny Service on 24 Jan

With up to 150 persons allowed for our DWS from 24 Jan, the church leaders and I would like to encourage more of us to book a slot and come to KKMC to thank God for our 127th Anny Service at the 8am or 10am DWS. Our guest preacher will be Rev Alvin Chan, Pastor-in-Charge, Trinity Methodist Church and District Superintendent 3.

Seminar on “Loving Outreach – Neighbours and Network” on Fri, 29 Jan – 8pm to 9.30pm and Sat, 30 Jan – 9.30am to 11am

As announced, Rev Dr Daniel Koh will be addressing us over two sessions on this topic based on 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a and James 1:27. He will also update us on the revised Methodist Social Principles and help educate us about how Methodists view social and moral issues. Register for this Seminar by Mon, 25 Jan, at the KKMC Website under “Events”.

All to Pray

Finally, may all of us commit to the Lord in prayer all we are doing so that we will continue to have safe and meaningful DWSs to the Glory of God and the edification of our congregation members! Do also pray that more KKMC members and friends will attend our DWSs with the increased numbers of worshippers allowed.

God bless and take care

Ps Kenneth
