Dear KKMC Members and Friends
Firstly, I would like to wish all God’s peace and grace. It has been about two months since the last Pastoral Letter. I have been praying that all of us are continuing to keep well and safe during Phase 3 (Heightened Alert).
Secondly, we want to truly praise God for keeping us at KKMC safe, while we held on-site Devotional Worship Services throughout this period, and especially as we observed Father’s Day and Youth Sunday recently. In fact, we also want to thank God for looking after us throughout the first 6 months of this year, which have flown by so quickly!
Thirdly, as we enter the 2nd half of 2021, in the month of July and August, for our information and prayers, we will be observing Special Sundays: 11 July – LifeGroup Sunday, 18 July – Bible Sunday, 25 July – Pre-Pledge Sunday, 1 Aug – Pledge Sunday, 8 Aug – National Day Sunday and 22 Aug – Evangelism Sunday, and finally, 29 Aug – Annual Hymn Festival.
We will also be celebrating two Anniversaries: on 1 Aug, the 28th Anniversary of our Tamil Ministry at 5.30pm and on 29 Aug, the 36th Anniversary of our Mandarin Ministry at 2pm.
Fourthly, may we continue to commit in prayer our Devotional Worship Services (DWSes) and other activities, asking for His favour to be upon the work of our hand. For the time being, the number of worshippers at our DWSes continues to be limited to 50 persons at any one time. Live singing is permitted for only two unmasked Worship Leaders. The Lord willing, we will have more worshippers able to attend our DWSes soon again.

A gentle reminder that the Sacrament of Holy Communion is conducted on the first two Sundays of each month for the English Congregation at KKMC at both our 8am and 10am DWSes. If you are not able to book a slot on the 1st Sunday, you can do so for the 2nd Sunday. For our Mandarin and Tamil DWSes, the Sacrament of Holy Communion is conducted only on the 1st Sunday of the month.
Our DWSes at 10am DWS (English), 2pm (Mandarin) and 5.30pm (Tamil) are live-streamed; do join us online if you are not able join us in person at church.
Lastly, let us remember that “The Lord is my Shepherd” (Psalm 23:1) and we must live under His leadership, by His values and according to His ways, especially during the on-going challenges COVID-19 has brought upon us.
May we at KKMC grow and be “Faithful Disciples in Authentic Community engaged in Loving Outreach and Bold Witness to the Glory of God”!
God Bless and take care.
Ps Kenneth
